Everyone’s always shocked when I tell them that about 65% of Elijah’s clothing come from consignment shops, once upon a child, flea markets, and the clearance racks at local stores. After having my Elijah I quickly realized just how hard it was to find clothes for little boys.
Everywhere I went the boys section was usually a row in the back corner behind the massive girls section haha. Talk about annoying. Thats when I decided to shop for Elijah the way that I do for myself. Although I love my clothes new, I have always been a thrifter since childhood.
Theres nothing wrong with matching sets or play clothes, it’s just I personally love bow ties and collard shirts on my son. Most of the pieces from Elijah’s outfit came once upon a child! The best part is that the overall total was 20 dollars.
Like I said before, you don’t need to spend a lot of money to dress your children or even yourself. Do yourself a favor and check out the nearest once upon a child near you today!
Shooting Elijah’s photos are usually a full days work! He has to have a toy car somewhere near by at all times haha.
