Within the last 5 years, it seems the makeup industry has evolved tremendously. Although I am not a big makeup person, I do however, like to buy quality products. Luckily for me, I have some pretty amazing friends, whom just so happen to be makeup artist as well!
Over the past 7 years, I’ve used tons of mascara brands, only to find 5 great ones that I truly love. I don’t know about you, but I certainly crave big, thick, luxurious eyelashes without having to wear fake lashes every time. Choosing the right mascara is very important for me. As a contact lens wearer, I’m very careful about products that go on my eyes. As we all know, eye infection are never fun.
Of the five mascara brands I will be reviewing today, my first favorite is the Lorac Pro Plus Fiber! Many of you probably have tried the two step mascara with the fibers on the end tub by now from other bands… so messy. The Lorac Pro Plus Fiber, is hands down the best fiber mascara that I have used by far. Not only does it make my lashes look longer, but It does not smudge under my eyes at the end of the day.
About 5 months ago, I walked into Sephora to see what all the hype was about haha. Their products were beyond amazing, so I had to really restrain myself. I instantly fell in love with the Tarte mascara ( lights, camera, lashes ). Not only does it moisturize your lashes, but it separates them so beautifully. I didn’t even get any clumping at all.
Now, for my ladies that don’t want to spend more than 7-10 bucks on mascara, I found a great one you can pick up at your local target or drug store today! This Maybeline Lash Sensational brand is great, and inexpensive. I would recommend it for every day use as well. Please keep in mind the price of the product. I do get a little bit of clumping after a long days wear.
Another great brand coming in right at 7.99 before taxes, is the L’ORÉAL-Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara. This mascara is the true definition of a great deal. Although very inexpensive, the L’Oréal’s Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara gives you great volume on the top and bottom. The brush has a 360 degree flexor that helps you build up the volume effortlessly.
My last, and final recommendation is the They’re Real lengthening mascara by Benefit Cosmetics! This amazing product lengthens, curls, volumizes, lifts & separates my lashes every time. The long wearing formula didn’t smudge or dry out. I even wore it Easter Sunday to a family cookout, and it did not smug that entire day. I use it every day, and It always delivers great results
So there you have it ladies! My top 5 favorite Mascara reviews form a non makeup guru. All thoughts on these products were my own honest reviews. If I had to recommend one, I would honestly recommend them all. It’s all about how much you want to spend, and what works best for your lashes.
If you try any of these brands, be sure to leave me a comment and let me know which one you liked the most! Until next time, stay blessed.
